1368 E. Erie Ave. Meets the Wrecking Crew

The view back in October
It looks like Jolly Old Saint Nick wasn't the only one hard at work on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas morning, while the spouse and I were heading into Lorain, we were surprised to see that the building at 1368 E. Erie had finally been demolished.

It was a startling sight to see the house next door for the first time from that angle.

But not as startling as I'll bet it was for the residents of that home to see the sun's early morning rays for the first time since the 1920s.

Always thought that was a neat old building.
