I played with someone there my age but it was so long ago I’m not sure if it was you or a brother. The name Mike Simpson rings a bell but Jay sounds familiar too! But thanks for leaving a comment, it was a nice reminder of the time when you knew most of the names of the families on your street and whether they had kids or not. Some of the families down in your block on Skyline were the Ferguson’s, Vazur’s, Malanowski’s, Kalo's, Protenics and Scroggs. There was also a little old lady next to O’Brian’s who gave out apples at Halloween!Dan Bradyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02118939034032765664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8321103554333725644.post-69298430870737091612019-07-22T13:33:02.061-04:002019-07-22T13:33:02.061-04:00I lived at 1816 E skyline rd from 1965 till 1972. ...I lived at 1816 E skyline rd from 1965 till 1972. I guess it's all in your perspective.

I never thought of our neighborhood as being particularly upper middle class, because everybody's dad seemed to work in a factory (either Ford, the steel mill, or BFGoodrich).Dan Bradyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02118939034032765664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8321103554333725644.post-87241133982316078592010-11-05T17:14:27.626-04:002010-11-05T17:14:27.626-04:00Back in our youthful ignorance(late 60's / ear...Back in our youthful ignorance(late 60's / early 70's), we children of color used to refer to that part of town as "Honky Valley".-Alan D Hopewellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05588625423455924651noreply@blogger.com
